Conference Reporter® Podcast: Circulating Tumor DNA, ESR1 Mutations, and Endocrine Combinations in HR+/HER2- Metastatic Breast Cancer

conference reporter by Komal Jhaveri, MD, FACP, FASCO
Overview

Circulating tumor DNA testing can identify tumor-derived mutations and support biomarker-based treatment assignment in HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer. Today’s podcast features an interview with Komal Jhaveri, MD, FACP, FASCO, highlighting data from the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting on ESR1 mutations, oral SERDs, and endocrine-based combinations after CDK4/6 inhibitor therapy.

Following this presentation, featured expert Komal Jhaveri, MD, FACP, FASCO, was interviewed by Conference Reporter Associate Editor-in-Chief Christopher Ontiveros, PhD. Clinical perspectives from Dr Jhaveri on these findings are presented here.
