Expert Roundtables Podcast: Optimizing the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria

expert roundtables by Thomas B. Casale, MD; Allen P. Kaplan, MD; Giselle S. Mosnaim, MD, MS
Overview

Presently, several targeted therapies are available for chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) when second-generation nonsedating H1 antihistamines fail, including oral and subcutaneous options. In this CSU podcast, our featured experts explain how, despite these advancements, gaps in CSU care persist, particularly within primary care. This underscores the need for timely referral to an allergist/immunologist or dermatologist to ensure appropriate diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
