Madhukar Trivedi, MD, is a professor of psychiatry and director of the Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center’s Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute. An internationally recognized expert on depression and mood disorders, Dr Trivedi has published more than 450 peer-reviewed articles and chapters in medical publications and received many awards over the course of his career. His research has shaped the established benchmarks now used for treating depression and other disorders.
