Aaron S. Farberg, MD, is an assistant professor of dermatology at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Health System. He is also assistant program director for the Lake Granbury Medical Center Dermatology Residency Training Program.


Dr Farberg received his medical degree from the University of Michigan. His postgraduate training includes additional residency years at the University of Michigan in plastic and reconstructive surgery and as a clinical research fellow in association with the National Society for Cutaneous Medicine and New York University. He then remained in New York, completing another residency in dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.


He is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in skin cancer and inflammatory diseases. In addition to being a world-renowned expert dermatologist and teacher, Dr Farberg has been a clinical investigator on numerous studies, including US Food and Drug Administration clinical trials. He is also an accomplished author and has published more than 100 articles in professional medical journals. In 2023, Dr Farberg was recognized and ranked by his dermatology colleagues in Newsweek as the #1 medical dermatologist in Texas and the #5 medical dermatologist in the entire country.
