Andrew Kuykendall, MD, is an associate member in the Department of Malignant Hematology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida (USF).
Dr Kuykendall earned his MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at USF and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Moffitt/USF.
Currently, he leads the Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Program at Moffitt, where he focuses his clinical and research efforts on patients with essential thrombocythemia, polycythemia vera, myelofibrosis, and systemic mastocytosis. Through retrospective, translational, and collaborative research, Dr Kuykendall is focused on better defining these heterogeneous diseases and developing disease-modifying therapies for patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms.
