Brian P. Vickery, MD, is professor of pediatrics, Marcus Professor of Pediatric Immunology, and chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Emory University School of Medicine and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.


He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia followed by his MD at the Medical College of Georgia. He then completed a pediatric residency and chief residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell and a fellowship at Yale School of Medicine.


Dr Vickery is a nationally prominent clinician-scientist focused on improving outcomes for children with allergic disease through the development and implementation of interventions that effectively address unmet medical needs. He has a more than 15-year track record of sustained extramural funding, national service, mentorship, and scholarship in food allergies, work that has led to more than 100 publications in leading journals and a current h-index of 38.
