Caroline Piatek, MD, is associate professor of clinical medicine in the Jane Anne Nohl Division of Hematology and Center for the Study of Blood Diseases at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA. She is also the current fellowship director for the USC/LAC+USC Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship Program.


After earning her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr Piatek completed her internal medicine residency and a hematology/medical oncology fellowship at USC.


Dr Piatek’s clinical focus is on nonmalignant/classical hematology. Her research interests include immune thrombocytopenia, warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia, and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
