Duvuru Geetha, MBBS, is a professor of clinical medicine in the Division of Nephrology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is also associate director of the Johns Hopkins Vasculitis Center and codirector of the Johns Hopkins Glomerular Disease Clinic.
Dr Geetha received her MBBS degree from Madras Medical College in India, and she completed her postgraduate training in internal medicine in the United Kingdom, her internal medicine residency at WellSpan York Hospital, and her nephrology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She has been a Johns Hopkins faculty member since 1998.
Her clinical interests include renal disease in patients with vasculitis, with a focus on ANCA-associated vasculitis and IgA vasculitis. Her clinical and translational research interests include ANCA-associated vasculitis, IgA vasculitis, and other glomerular diseases.
Dr Geetha is a member of the Miller Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence at Hopkins, the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom), the American Society of Nephrology, and the International Society of Nephrology. She serves as a consultant for the Vasculitis Foundation.
