Jeffrey M. Cohen, MD, is assistant professor of dermatology and biomedical informatics & data science at the Yale School of Medicine, where he also serves as the director of the Psoriasis Treatment Program. Dr Cohen is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, and he completed his internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and his dermatology residency at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr Cohen serves on the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Editorial Board and as a senior editor of the Journal of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis . He is also on the National Psoriasis Foundation Medical Board and is a councilor for the International Psoriasis Council.
Dr Cohen’s primary clinical focus is on inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. He is particularly interested in the use of novel therapeutics and treatment-resistant disease. His research efforts are devoted to the epidemiology of inflammatory skin diseases, and he uses large databases to better understand associations between diseases such as psoriasis and eczema and other disorders. He is also actively engaged in translational research to further elucidate the immunologic underpinnings of inflammatory skin diseases.
