Kapil Arya, MD, is a professor of pediatrics and director of the Child Neurology Residency Program in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences School of Medicine. In addition, Dr Arya is director of the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Clinic at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
He is a member of the CureSMA Medical Advisory Council and serves as the spinal muscular atrophy consultant for the state of Arkansas. Dr Arya is board certified in pediatrics and neurology with special qualifications in child neurology, epilepsy, and clinical neurophysiology.
