Sagar D. Sardesai, MBBS, coleads the High-Risk Breast Cancer Program at the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James, where he also oversees the Clinical Research Program for Breast Cancer as the disease research group leader and serves as an associate professor in the Division of Medical Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine.

Dr Sardesai is a breast medical oncologist and clinical investigator with a research focus in breast cancer prevention and improving symptom management for survivors. He serves as vice chair of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Breast Cancer Risk Reduction Guidelines Panel, helping shape the national standards of care in cancer prevention.

He has authored more than 65 publications in cancer research, including in The New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, and Clinical Cancer Research. Dr Sardesai also serves on the editorial boards for Frontiers in Oncology and Therapeutic Advances in Medical Oncology.
