Sayantani Sindher, MD , is clinical associate professor, Department of Medicine, and clinical associate professor, Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology, Department of Pediatrics, Stanford University. She is also director, Clinical Translational Research Unit, Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research (SNP center), where she conducts translational research investigating immune mechanisms in atopic conditions.
She completed her pediatric residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Bronx, NY, and her fellowship in allergy and immunology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), PA. She joined the SNP center at Stanford University in January 2017.
Dr Sindher's long-term research focus is on advancing our understanding of immune dysfunction and regulation in allergic disorders and on applying these insights to the development of novel therapeutics to treat these diseases. She divides her time between research at the SNP center and outpatient clinical care of pediatric allergy patients.
