Tyler J. Gluckman, MD, MHA, FACC, FAHA, FASPC, is medical director of the Providence Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research + Data Science (CARDS) at the Providence Heart Institute in Portland, OR. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.


Dr Gluckman’s principal clinical interests include identifying, coordinating, and implementing cardiovascular care improvement strategies. He has authored or coauthored more than 100 scientific articles, reviews, and book chapters. His work has been published in several high-impact journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, JAMA, JAMA Cardiology, the Journal of the American Heart Association, and NEJM Catalyst Innovations in Care Delivery.


He previously served as an associate editor for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology; associate editor for Guidelines and Clinical Policy for ACC.org, the primary website of the American College of Cardiology (ACC); and chair of the ACC Solution Set Oversight Committee, overseeing policy and clinical documents issued by the ACC. Additionally, Dr Gluckman is past governor for the ACC Oregon Chapter. Currently, he is a board member for the American Society for Preventive Cardiology, a liaison for the American Heart Association Council on Quality of Care and Outcomes Research, and a site member of the American Heart Association Target: Aortic Stenosis initiative.
