Zachary Epstein-Peterson, MD, is an assistant attending physician on the Lymphoma Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and an instructor in medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, both in New York, NY. He attended Harvard Medical School and trained in internal medicine at the University of Washington and NewYork-Presbyterian Cornell Hospital. He completed his chief residency and a fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at MSKCC.
Dr Epstein-Peterson’s clinical interests include mantle cell lymphoma and T-cell and cutaneous lymphomas, and he cares for patients in the multidisciplinary Cutaneous Lymphoma Clinic at MSKCC. His research seeks to examine the mechanisms of resistance to therapies in these disease areas using genomic- and patient-derived tumor xenograft–based approaches, partnering with wet and dry lab collaborators to conduct these correlative studies. He also investigates outcomes for rarer subtypes of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in collaboration with other institutions. He serves as MSK site principal investigator (PI) or co-PI for multiple industry-sponsored clinical trials.
