Udhayvir S. Grewal, MD, is a gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine tumor (NET) medical oncologist at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and an assistant professor of medical oncology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.


After completing medical school at Government Medical College in Patiala, India, Dr Grewal completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and a hematology and medical oncology fellowship at the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he still remains an active collaborator with the Iowa NET Specialized Program of Research Excellence team.


Dr Grewal’s research focuses on drug development and care delivery innovations for patients with NETs. He serves as cochair of the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) NETPact Committee and as a member of the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society Grade 3 Neuroendocrine Neoplasms Task Force. Dr Grewal also serves on NANETS guideline panels for the surgical and medical management of small intestinal NETs.
