Conference Reporter® Podcast: Clinical Trial Updates—Platforms, Genes, and Pathways in Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration

conference reporter by Rishi P. Singh, MD, FASRS
Overview

Frequent intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy has transformed outcomes in wet age-related macular degeneration, but treatment burden and undertreatment remain important challenges. In today’s podcast, Rishi P. Singh, MD, FASRS, reviews sustained delivery approaches, gene therapy, TKIs, and emerging pathways based on clinical trial updates presented at the AAO 2026 Annual Meeting.

Following these presentations, featured expert Rishi P. Singh, MD, FASRS, was interviewed by Conference Reporter Editor-in-Chief Tom Iarocci, MD. Clinical perspectives from Dr Singh on these findings are presented here.
