Conference Reporter® Podcast: Genomic Assays in HR+/HER2- Early-Stage Breast Cancer

conference reporter by Joseph A. Sparano, MD, FACP, FASCO
Overview

Genomic assays have helped clinicians estimate distant recurrence risk and guide treatment decisions in HR+/HER2- early-stage breast cancer. In this podcast interview, Joseph A. Sparano, MD, FACP, FASCO, discusses how findings from the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting, including data from the OPTIMA and NATALEE trials, may inform current practice and future research.

Following these presentations, featured expert Joseph A. Sparano, MD, FACP, FASCO, was interviewed by Conference Reporter Associate Editor-in-Chief Christopher Ontiveros, PhD. Clinical perspectives from Dr Sparano on these findings are presented here.
