Andrew Hendifar, MD, is the medical oncology lead for the Gastrointestinal Disease Research Group at Cedars-Sinai and the co-director of Pancreas Oncology. His clinical practice is focused on the optimal management of pancreatic cancer patients, including developing supportive care protocols. He serves as the chair for the supportive care working group for the Precision Promise initiative through PANCAN. His research is focused on developing new therapeutics for pancreatic cancer patients. Specifically, he develops protocols, therapeutics, and novel endpoints for pancreatic cancer cachexia.
