Andrew S. Bomback, MD, MPH, is associate professor of medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he is also the co-director of the David Koch Jr. Glomerular Kidney Center. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in nephrology and clinical epidemiology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr Bomback has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles on kidney disease, with a primary focus on glomerular diseases. He serves as a principal investigator or coinvestigator for clinical trials of immunoglobulin A nephropathy, complement 3 glomerulopathy, membranous nephropathy, lupus nephritis, and other glomerular diseases.
