This special roundtable discussion brings together four leading experts in diverse areas of preventive medicine and community health to discuss one important, ongoing issue: low adult vaccination rates in underserved or underrepresented communities. The panel features health policy researcher Dr DeLawnia Comer-HaGans, infectious disease specialists Dr Karen Krueger and Dr Jose Camargo, and clinician and health equity researcher Dr Fola May.
They will discuss both individual and population-level barriers to vaccination, as well as their insights and experiences with various approaches to improving vaccine uptake in underserved communities.
